Outstanding CSR Programs
In the Presentation session, Sebastien Borne explained to the jury that of the many CSR programs it carries out, Dynapack Asia has three programs deemed worthy of being emulated or recommended to other companies.
First, the PET Recycling Project is an innovative model involving collaboration with Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) and PT Amandina Bumi Nusantara, combining advanced recycling technology with community empowerment, improving the livelihoods of waste collectors. This approach can serve as a model for companies integrating sustainability with social impact.
PET recycling project in partnership with (CCEP). Operated by PT Amandina Bumi Nusantara, a joint venture between Dynapack Asia and CCEP, the project uses recycling technology to turn PET waste into recycled plastic pellets. Full operations started in 2022, supported by the Mahija Parahita Nusantara Foundation, which focuses on empowering waste pickers and collectors across Indonesia.
Advantages of the CSR Program: tackle environmental and social issues. As of December 2024, the initiative has positively impacted 61,725 lives and collected over 2.34 billion post-consumer PET bottles.
Second, the Renewable Energy Solar Panel Program, installing solar panels across multiple countries, generating clean energy, and reducing the company’s carbon footprint. This program demonstrates how businesses can transition to renewable energy, reduce emissions, and lower operational costs, making it a replicable model for other companies.
The solar panel program involves the installation of 7 solar panel systems across Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and China, generating 12,000 MWh of yearly renewable energy. The initiative reduces the company’s carbon footprint and supports the transition to sustainable energy sources. Additional solar panels are being installed in Indonesia to expand the program.
Advantages of the CSR Program: Reduces environmental impact, lowers operational energy costs, and supports the transition to renewable energy.
Third, the Employee Child Scholarship Program supports employees’ families by covering tuition fees, textbooks, and extracurricular needs, helping children complete their education. This investment in human capital can be emulated by other companies to enhance employee welfare, build loyalty, and develop a skilled future workforce.
The scholarship program provides tuition fee assistance and support for other educational needs such as textbooks and extracurricular activities for employees’ children. Dynapack will allocate around 500 million IDR to support their education until graduation.
Advantages of the CSR Program: helps ease the financial burden on employees, supports children’s education, and fosters a positive work environment.
